Seven stages of enlightenment
We have written this as per our own understanding. Most of the points are from the book supreme yoga / yoga vasistha, by swami venkateshananda. A disiple of swami sivananda very enlightened modern time sage. This book was recommended by my sister. We recommend it to all the serious seekers, this book is written as a dialogue between lord Rama and the sage vasistha in the assembly of his fathers court when dispassion and delusion besieged the young lord rama. Most of the books that are written recently by advanced aspirants have the same points mostly, thus the points are not limited to this book only. The birth of desire in humans to understand the self is the first stage. This desire is the seed or root cause of the entire manifestation, but in relation to spirituality it is the wanting to know the self. Wanting to know WHO AM I? This desire will end with the understand that I AM THAT, we can add in place of THAT{what I think I am, or what I understand that I am, or I AM BRAH-MA, a illusion meaning I am not different from the entirety} Between the two major situations (happiness and suffering) in any ones life, suffering triggers this feeling or desire more than happiness towards the quest of understanding the problems of life. The soul is forever seeking bliss, and happiness is the closest it can attain in everyday life situations is the sensual pleasures as it is mostly looking outwards. Thus in happiness it will never have the desire to want to know WHO IS ENJOYING as it is busy enjoying, which is its primary desire (seeking to experience of bliss of peace). Sorrow being the opposite of happiness, is not liked by anyone of us, and we do everything in our power to deter it, instead of ignoring it, we put all our effort and energy into thinking of ways to remove it, in the bargain we are continuously stuck with the experience, actually all these effort makes us sink deeper and deeper in sorrow as actually trying to negate it, we continuously think about it. Thus the experience! We communicate it with all we come into contact or interact and they in turn remind us of it when we meet. Our intention is to find a solution but the way we adopt is continuously engaging our senses with it thus we cannot come out of it. Ultimately giving up and surrendering to the almighty. This giving up is actually nothing but a change of thought from attachment with sorrow to sublimation or surrender knowing fully or having full faith in the love and power of the supreme god, this changes the thoughts and the feelings and the trap of thoughts we had set ourselves in. Remember thoughts are the cause due to breathing, the more we are in stress the faster we will breathe. Guidance from mother nature was actually taking place continuously during the period of suffering in the form of visions, guidance from elders learned people including the books on every topic on the suffering all around us, but we were engrossed with our own thoughts experiencing pain, completely occupying our mind, with the ego that we can ourselves solve it with our own intelligence or that we are helpless and there is no one who will help us we go into a depression, little did we know that all that was required was change of thoughts. Now begins the second stage, which is actually, analysis or enquiry with a different perspective of a third person, just like looking from outside. Most of us enlightened people will forget the experience and get on with our daily life. But the spiritual aspirant (we normal people) will try to enquire. This usually starts with the question WHY DID THIS HAPPEN TO "ME"? HOW CAN "I" ENSURE THAT IT WILL NOT REPEAT IN THE FUTURE? The search for everything related to the situation begins with every caution not to become trapped or experience the same situation again. Slowly these questions change and we ask WHAT IS SUFFERING? WHAT MAKES "ME" SUFFER? WRONG WHAT DID "I" DO WRONG? As the mind is occupied with these questions during our wakeful state, dreaming and sleep continuously it creates a new habit. We start to wonder why am I NOT suffering now when I am thinking about the same thing continuously. If we look carefully we will see that even though the mind is completely occupied with the details of sufferings, the experience of suffering is absent this is due to detailed description of the state is not reaching up to the memory and emotions level, thus consciousness is just replaying the situation with words from memory directly. The reason is simple we now are thinking about the entire incident or experience as a third person! The perspective is different it is as if we are observing from outside, this along with the restrained gross sense organs gives us all the answers with respect to only external things, but intelligence is not satisfied. Since these topics are so much occupying our mind we relate or see these in relation with every thing we are doing in the present as well as in dream sleep. Now the internal realm is awakened to the query, this is where we find the root cause of all the problems. This is the beginning of spiritual journey. Many of us may not become conscious of this in the beginning, it will be as if a brain wave has occurred, or a flash of imagination, things begin to fall in place, sequence of events are becoming clear, analysis takes on a permanent role in our lives, all natural deeds are analyzed, mind stays on one topic as in concentration (beginning stages of meditation.). THERE COULD ALSO BE reverse situation, delusion of what to accept and what to reject these may cause confusion; the only solution to this is seeking advice from the learned and more experienced persons in our society. Or changing the thoughts. When they ask a direct question [FIRST ANSWER WHO IS SUFFERING?] Co-relating everything with external things first and does not find a answer (it is the normal habit), thus contemplates further, as the fear born from the experience of situation is fresh in the memory, this is the driving force for enquiry, not finding the answers it searches the memory this is the beginning of internalizing oneself or purifying the memory. The access to deeper levels of memory from previous births is possible now. Not finding the answer we may go blank or sink deeper in depression. Totally engrossed with these we come to know that we have detached from both internal and external needs of the body/ mind / and soul, thus we become aware that, if we keep the consciousness occupied with something more important than daily life we cannot suffer or enjoy anything (single pointed), THIS REALIZATION IS THE FIRST TASTE OF PURE BLISS OR PEACE. The above state is when our mind becomes subtle and starts looking at subtle things related with everything in life (we go into the deeper levels of feelings). We find that we can co-relate with everything in Mother Nature to find answers to daily life situations as long as externalization is in progress with single pointed enquiry. THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF THIRD STAGE. We quickly understand that if we externalise we are no different from all normal humans, we suffer and enjoy things just like them and during internalising we are free from most of the sufferings and enjoyments coming from outside. But the new found bliss of peace is so wonderful that we give up the attachment to sense pleasures and craving. We tend to seek solitude and deeper contemplation. This journey from gross to subtle opens us to the realm of feelings and energy; this is when the truth of oneness is revealed. The cosmic wisdom is revealed to us This is when we transcend into the 4th level, here all duality ends. The 5th level is freedom from the three modes of nature. The 6th level is the undifferentiated reality. It is from here we come back to the zero level of normal humans just to confirm the understanding and reaffirm ourselves. This is very necessary as giving up all that we achieved in our sadhana and getting trapped in worldly pleasure is possible. We try to help all, as we really know that we are really one so we are really helping ourselves. The success in enabling each human we guide confirms this truth. Now the self-knowledge is spontaneously experienced. The final stage (7th stage) is beyond mind and feelings. We have cannot described these levels as joy of experiencing as the experience will be limited to our understanding and bliss of peace will be lost.

Yoga Or Union
Yoga or union LOVE IS THE ULTIMATE STATE OF YOGA OF CONSCIOUSNESS WITH THE ENTIRETY. Yoga of all the energy in the universe gives rise to the undifferentiated totality we call god. Yoga of all the individual consciousness gives rise to the infinite consciousness. Yoga of our individual ego with the ego of the unlimited gives rise to unlimited bliss. Yoga of bindhu with nada gives rise to energy as heat, light, & sound. Yoga of different light frequencies forms interference patterns on the retina of the eye to give birth to vision of things perceived by the eye. Yoga of all the different frequencies of energy of heat and light gives rise to space and air. Yoga of different sounds combined together in different ways gives birth to words; yoga of words with meaning gives birth to our understanding as soon as it is accepted and stored in the memory. Yoga of all the different colors of light as seen in the rainbow gives rise to clear white light (Some may like to call it yellow). Yoga of all the different frequencies of sound gives rise to the universal sound called as omkara "Ohm" pronounced as "aum". Yoga of hydrogen and oxygen gives rise to fire and water. Yoga of heat light and air with water gives raise the material earth (compounds of different salts and chemicals). Yoga of different carbohydrates, protein with water and consciousness gives rise to the first livings cell. yoga of different cells with minerals from earth gives rise to the plants and trees. Yoga of the five powers of the consciousness gives rise to consciousness. Yoga of all the five sense organs in the brain gives raise to the mind. Yoga of understanding with feelings gives birth to joy in the mental level and if we can remove all meaning and understanding we attain joy in spiritual level. The yoga of bioelectric signals within the channels of the body due to pressure or friction gives birth to sensation. Yoga of different chemicals with the taste buds gives rise to taste and It becomes obvious that YOGA OR UNION IS EVERYWHERE in the manifested universe. All these tell us that everything is in separation and the omnipotent being one is where YOGA OR UNION is complete.

spiritual life
Spiritual and domestic life. All Acts We perform in either Spiritual and domestic life is the way we help god, nature, and ourselves experience, everything we choose by merely desiring or bringing forth the exact feeling from memory is the initial act, this is really creation or destruction of things in our life, which also is an act of re-circulation of energy in their independent cycles related to the nature, this keeps the universe going towards its normal course of destruction or end (when the omnipotent withdraws his consciousness from it). This cycle of creation and dissolution has been repeating itself from time in memory, generally expressed as, “with out beginning or end”. The best part of living in this material universe is that we don’t “un-do or destroy” all the changes we have created, before we depart from this life, leaving it to be destroyed by others is not our real behavior, we say this as we watch little children playing on the beach building castles, they will not let even their parents touch as along as there is enough time before going home, as soon as the parents call them to take them home, they first run over the castle destroying it so that no one else can play with it. (They are so pure with no corruption in their desire and feelings to such an extent that we can safely equate them to be similar to god as we define or know, since even god destroys everything just before going to sleep. They live in the most natural sense in their desire that is present in the now; their wants are not attached to any other thing but only which they are involved with at present). This is not so in real life of many of us, one of the reasons may be we cannot really destroy what we have created or we really do not have enough time to destroy in the real life, or we are attached to them so much that we really don’t want to destroy them, this is the real reason we develop attachment to created things, or we are so involved with the process of death that we cannot destroy these things for lack of time, in the ending moments of our lives. Thus what we see all around us is the creation designed by our fore fathers from the beginning of creation. This creation in the preliminary stages of each creation cycle is always done by the first born (mind born) sons of the god whose consciousness entered the celestial waters to from the golden egg inside which this entire creation exists. They leave their mark here on earth to remind the living that they where here thus they do not have to take rebirth. Some of us remembered by our name, earned due the works done by us towards development of society or the name, building monuments, social service or some good deed as considered by the society or donate very large sum of money to a good cause that is defined by us, of our children, the name of our linage, guru, or the people we grow up with, this is the easiest way known to us. Ultimately we all like to be remembered because we like to live for ever as we really don’t die we only change bodies. This also means that as long as we are remembered, it is as good as we are living, even though without body but at least in name, this is the reason for the urge to become great attain name and fame and live in the memory of the living or remembered by people, as along as they remember us we really don’t take rebirth. We write history, teach fairy tales, folk lore teach or enact dramas of things done by great kings and heroes. This tells us one great truth, as far as our understanding and acceptance, if we want god to take rebirth we should stop remembering him, look at the history as given in the puranas, the situation in the world was so bad that no one was thinking of god and thus had to take birth in the human form and reestablish righteousness in the earth. The reason we are asked to remember the gods, fore fathers, saints or incarnations of the lord is to ensure that they are living at least in name; this will confirm that as long as they are remembered they need not take rebirth.

stick to disciplines
How one can stick to disciplines?Think of our practice as Dharma (righteousness) related to the past teachings of seers, which must be adhered to as if being alive in the present depends only if these methods written in the texts. These are to be implemented in ones life possessing this information and knowledge without implementing in ones own life. Kama or desires we are presently attached to should be at par only with relation to this dharma and Artha the wealth that is required to enable these acts should be from the pure (source of wealth should be self earned or righteously attained). Mohsha the merger with the ultimate is actually not in our hands or with our powers thus it is left to the mercy of the ultimate. ( a personal note : we have seen and experienced that most of the things the text says are impossible to be practiced in the present, thus we are guided by the present day religious leaders, But we would advice letting our subconscious decide, as it is closer to the soul and cannot be wrong as per the universal order.) Eight spiritual qualities that help in maintaining once practice or stick to disciplines are given in the text. This does not mean that these are the only ones that one should follow. - Compassion towards all living beings, this is required as everything in this world is god. This will enable the sense one oneness with the whole. This quality comes from our true basic nature, which is love, love is a liking towards the self as I, the ego of limitedness, compassion towards all living beings will ensure to remove this limitedness of the developed ego.
- Tolerance is mainly aimed at withholding oneself from reacting to a situation that is understood by the individual as not liked by him /her. This reaction was a developed in stages, that will slowly take a natural habit if allowed to grow further it may become beyond our control.
- Helping everyone who come to us seeking protection, guidance, give freely to everyone the knowledge this will ensure that we continuously receive the pure knowledge from the universe. When we consider that everything is one then we are actually giving it to ourselves thus it comes back multifold.
- Refrain from envy. This is very necessary as similar to the above paragraph we will receive it back in multifold.
- External and internal purification. The most common purification we know is taking a bath with water or washing cloths related with external purification. Internally we use the flow of vital energy “prana” its reservoir or store is at the navel chakra, Manipura, it is also called as “shakthi chalana” (flow of prana in a desired way is shakthi.)
- Calmness with alertness in all situations. This quality will develop by its self as we progress in our sadhana or practice. Alertness is vital to ensure that we unconsciously don’t do something that is considered by the society as wrong and become a victim of the curse or bad feelings of others.
- Selfishness: externally it means we develop a hate or adverse feeling to wards others. Internally it means self love, if self is considered as body then we are dividing our consciousness with something else thus the flow of energy will be divided thus effect will be similarly less.
- Do not hanker for things or have desires, (This does not require any explanation)

Meditation Turyia continued 3 & 4
Meditation Turyia continued 3 & 4 "Vision lights” as per another aspirant with very clear and detailed description of her visualizations up to minute details, this aspirant we can safely say has reached a very high state of concentration indicated by the detailed description of the vision giving the measure of the purity level achieved in using the third eye (thoughts) just imagine the level of concentration that can be arrived at with clarity, the texts say that it must be possible to describe up to the level of markings in the every smallest part of the eye with respect to physical characteristics, in the subtle level up to the essence of all the sense organs and up to the clear feelings in the supreme level, thus she is still on the verge of achieving meditative bliss or may be she is satisfied with the experience thus is still not there. This does not mean that she is not enjoying the session, in fact she is enjoying it so much that she is not letting go. Meditative bliss is possible either by letting go of the attachment to the vision or total surrender of all our previous understanding stored in the memory, as long as the intellect is active occupied with the vision and thoughts or mental dialogue is taking place due to the act of comparison the consciousness thoughts cannot be stilled and consciousness cannot be free thus it cannot transcend into the absolute. Books we read, talks we hear from the guides can create an intense craving for the same experience, this is the main cause of getting stuck, or most of the time creating these by strong desire super imposing these on the mind by the memory and concentrating on these with an understanding that the author of the book must be right and this is what we want to get there deters the development of bliss. LET ME ASSURE YOU THAT IT IS ONLY OUR ASSUPMTIONS THAT ARE THE REAL THINGS THAT BLOCK OUR OWN PROGRESS, as every individual will experience only that what he knows or only that which they have accepted as correct until he is consciously or unconsciously using his mental ability. Bliss that we are referring to is the ultimate universal one rather that our own individual understanding, it requires details if we are in the mental level, very often these details are not given in the books mainly due to the fact they cannot be described within the limited vocabulary of the language, thus, the experience in the mental level will definitely not same for everyone as the understand is different, these will vary as per the tastes or development of individuals and individual development is not universally same thus it cannot be the supreme state. The supreme state if we may call it (Turyia) is universal. Every one of us will experience the same since logically it must be the ultimate one. Total surrender of all our previous understanding is one of the needs to progress if speed is our requirement this understanding needs to be rearranged as per the universal cosmic memory by detaching it from our individual one if we want to understand the totality. One important argument on this to easily let go can be, “THIS UNDERSTANDING (individual memory) DID NOT BRING ME TO GOD CONSCIOUSNESS TILL NOW. It is also limited so cannot make me experience the unlimited or absolute, SO WHY KEEP IT, WHY NOT ACCEPT THE TEXTS AS THEY ARE SINCE THE FORE FATHERS HAD ACHIEVED THEIR ENLIGHTENMENT THROUGH THEM.” Meditation Turyia continued 4 “Deep sleep is really a meditative bliss” whether with consciousness or without consciousness we say this because the experience is the same (Total freedom, complete feeling of relaxation, All thoughts are stilled! Thus no emotions or feelings! Thus no stress! The joy of this stillness is unique). Note that the consciousness is focused very far from the imagined location of memory namely the functioning of the heart and rhythmic breathing. Achieving the state consciously is the difference in experiencing true joy not related to any single thing. (Note joy is also limited only up to the clarity we have, TO PUT IT IN TERMS OF UNIVERSALITY FOR US LAYMEN “JUST IMAMGINE HHHHHHH MMMMMM mmmmmmmm……” with out a beginning or ending one continuous un-struck primordial un born thus undying NADA or hum without attaching consciousness). Just try this place your child small baby on your chest and hum this tone or call it tune, he / she will fall asleep within seconds (please be careful to have clear unbroken tone or tune). All the joys experienced in life till now are connected to some thing with variance in the quality and quantity as per each individual understanding of joy. Concentration to reach meditation or detaching the consciousness from senses and memory, stilling all the thoughts, beyond mind is only single process of getting to the state of bliss (turiya); it is "dhayana"( continuous concentration) of whatever topic is in "Dharana" (concentration). Total involvement with out and break in any act can also bring about meditation (LOST IN THE ACT OF OBSERVETION WITHOUT FEELING OR THINKING OF ANY THING but the thought we are concentrating) any thing that satisfies or creates the complete opposite or removing the difference between all the opposites (going above duality), say after a satisfactory meal or say after a satisfactory sexual orgasm or say after a satisfactory extreme joy or sadness …. Also can make us experience limited Turyia with a slight difference as it is linked with the act. The easiest way to reach there is to think of the thought that you most intensely desired (craving, want, longing or madly want to posses LOVE OR BAKTHI)!!!. The only problem here (if the thought is more of physical or materialistic it is easily interacted with, that means you will like to get involved!) Then the state is lost, that is meditation is terminated without you even realizing, the intellect again starts to correlate everything creating an internal dialogue of thoughts that enables staying in that state we are interacting with. THIS WE DISCRIBE AS CHANGING FROM VERTICAL COMPONTNET OF TIME TO THE HORIZANTAL COMPONENT OF TIME.

Meditative state “Turiya” continued 2.
One of the stages we may experience in dawning of meditation Many of us may experience this and other, revealed by enlightened persons but they are not necessarily a requirement as per any universal rule. Many of us will experience this after reading this article as we will anticipate this, this is natural. Reading experiences written or heard of other enlightened persons will also do the same, this is O.K as long as we manifest it due to our desire to experience them, but if these do not manifest it we will end up as stress, thus anticipation can lead to problems some times. "I feel I forget myself" as quoted by one of the aspirants in an e-mail, is one of the stages we reach if our practice is progressing with or without anticipation, {YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PATH, ALSO KNOW THAT JUST LIVING OUR LIFE OR ANY DAILY ACT CAN ALSO LEAD TO DAWNING OF MEDITATION, kindly note that all activity can lead to the state of meditation AS THEY ARE ALL LINKED TO THE OMNIPOTENT. This is done by becoming one pointed and our thoughts focused only with it consciously.} This may be also experienced as being conscious during dawning of dream state or deep sleep state, transcending the awake phase of consciousness (consciousness being attached to the sense organs using intelligence correlating with the memory) into the dream phase (describing and creating a dialogue of the vision created in the electrical and magnetic field called mind. Many of us experience this in the subconscious mind, here anticipation and strong unsatisfied desire plays an important role). All persons who experience this can remember their dreams and then can transcend into conscious dreaming easily (complete loss of external awareness, meaning awareness changing to or related with the subtle essence of the five sensory organs). The next experience can be, transcending into conscious deep sleep. And the next is seizure of all identification with the observed. And further into merging with the observed. To master this we have used observing any movie and not loosing the connection or relationship between the different changes that take place as the movie unfolds (scenes, location, characters with out any emotional involvement). This means maintaining the link in the three sheaths, (BODY posture, stress or relaxed), (MIND, correlation with memory) and (SPIRIT feelings and beyond mind experience). [Meditation in the movie hall really helped]. Alternately when we experience this, immediately think that we have transcended or deliberately think that the state of awareness has changed from active awareness of sense organs to active awareness of subtle part of the sense organs, we are now awake not in the physical body state but in the subtle mental state, the proof is that we will be aware of the activity of the mind namely thinking nothing in particular at first but being aware of everything. Caution is necessary here to maintain only observation with out identifying, or interacting or analyzing anything. This is necessary because if we do so we loose the preliminary state “dawning of meditation”. The only difference in sleep, clear vision awareness and meditative state of bliss (turiya) is that there is consciousness, but there is no identifying with anything thus it is without boundaries or limitation only this can expand our awareness into the ultimate. There is only awareness (consciousness) of the whole universe without differentiation, as if it is all inside the head at first, then the boundary of the mind surpasses the boundary of the head and human limitation, expanding our awareness into the unlimited, it is just observing the complete (Example that we feel may explain “ Just look straight with open eyes in front THERE WILL BE MANY THINGS THAT IS PRESENT IN THE VISION , but the consciousness will select only one of them this is because consciousness can focus only on one thing at any given instant, now think of some abstract thing that is not obviously visible Say flow of energy everywhere within the vision WHAT WILL HAPPEN ? Identifying with any single object will end IT IS AS IF WE ARE OBSERVING EVERYTHING ALLAT ONCE, when we master this then stop thinking of energy also YOU WILL BE THERE INSTANTLY. The only way we know that we are there is, when we become aware that there is nothing you need to do (physically, mentally or spiritually) there because everything we can imagine is already there, actually we don’t even imagine! the entire vertical component of time is perceived (just like a observer watching there is no involvement with anything, a higher stage there to this is no separate observer and the observed, it may seem that you are being observed but you are actually observing, there is no difference between you and that which is observed) the minute you get involved with anything the state is lost and you are back with the living, the horizontal component of time. This state is like everything is happening and yet WE ARE STAND STILL with reference to our own frame of time (meaning that the relative time of our consciousness stops and only the universal time component as identified by all the consciousness involved with creation in the manifested world is active THIS IS OBSERVING, yet active within the time frame of those involved there is no flow of time for the person in meditative bliss ONLY PRESENT RELATED TO HIM exists and it observes the movement as per the desires of all the active components in the universe. Note here that this is not the ultimate state. The state that is beyond this state, there is totally no separation with what you are aware of. YOU BECOME ONE WITH IT. This is the end no further thing to define and confine within words and meaning and experience! Just Know that there is No You! Different from the rest….. YOU ARE THE TOTALITY! MEANING THE LIMIT IMPOSED BY THE EGO OVER THE CONSCIOUSNESS IS REMOVED. The logic that defends this is; - Consciousness moves into the recesses of the heart or focuses on the functioning of the heart, far away from the assumed location memory during deep sleep, and somewhere in between during dream sleep shuffling between the heart and mind, thus it never rests, even after it leaves this body after death. The only time it will rest is when the omnipotent decides to do so, in other words, consciousness being the part of the omnipotent will be active until omnipotent is active or awake (EVEN HE WILL SLEEP, AND THE WHOLE UNIVERSE WILL BECOME STAND STILL AS SOON AS HE WITHDRAWS HIS CONSCIOUSNESS from the cosmic memory), it is linked with an unbreakable connection through feelings “Bhavana” [Communication using feelings is the highest medium called “PARA”. (Read my article on communication)] so this will carry on until all memory that was not understood is present in the active and sub conscious memory, because these topics that were forced to be side tracked ( converted to SATWA or TAMAS) are stored in the memory and have a potential to attract the intellect as there is change or difference (RAJAS). Thus, intellect cannot rest until it reaches a stage called Satwa or Tamas. It will stay there (Satwa or Tamas) until it gains sufficient potential to start moving to wards the opposite, thus we cannot stay in turiya until we are in the realm of DUALITY.

Meditative state “Turiya” continued.
Meditative state “Turiya” continued. Meditative state “Turiya” is said to have been achieved only when we can stay in this undefined state for any length of time, in the beginning there may be just glimpses of it. These tend to become more frequent, and next it stays there for a short period, only when it becomes continuous we can say we are in the state of Turiya, Meditative state, the state of never ending bliss has been reached, this bliss is without any definition and co relationship with anything either with words or its meaning, neither with its taste, smell, sight, feeling, nor sound as all these will only mean that we are still in the level of senses and not in the plane of spiritual awareness! Until then we are only in the process of getting there. That is why we where always saying meditation dawns on us it cannot be forcefully acquired except during hypnotic sessions controlled not by us but by the conductor of the show. Yes, we can or may say that god may be hypnotizing us! This is really expanding our space or vision from the limits of our definition and awareness to the unlimited; we become the observer of everything in short, No interaction just observation. Thus we will see the design of the creator that if memory of the past is still alive then. We will tend to co relate and develop feelings and then words with meaning and then definition of things. This is why until memory is present we may just reach there but cannot stay there for long as we will see the things happening and want to help, this will mean taking a decision to come back among the living human beings. Everything similar between us gives is the collective space or vision or creation of the manifested universe, similarly everything similar in the state of meditative bliss us gives the collective space or vision of the entire un-manifested and manifested universe with out any limitation [In short How it is here it is replicated there the only difference is the purity and clarity]. The various yogic methods teach us to gradually stop identifying with the activities of the mind and thus expand its influence to the entire universe. This is when the whole knowledge is revealed to us and we become aware that all the limitations are our creation. Making new patterns of thinking nothing and keeping the mind alert, so that it does not slip back into the old ways of pleasure seeking. Along with expansion of mind, it brings with it the stable state of one pointed ness of the entire vastness. And as all the memory is exhausted say undifferentiated, comes peacefulness, tranquility and silence, THIS IS WHEN MEDITATION AS PER MY UNDERSTANDING STARTS, SO WE WERE IN THE STATE OF CONCENTRATION UNTIL IT STARTS, LINKED WITH THE MANIFESTED THROUGH THE SENSES.. Union of the five powers of the consciousness, an inter section at a single point “Bindhu” that creates the “NADA” experienced as subtle feelings with in the limits of our understanding is awareness. Five powers intersect at a single point “Bindhu or dot”; understanding of this in the subtle level will give us easy to utilize the consciousness during concentration and arrive at a meditation state and get a clearer experience. {We will go deeper into this in our next article} Happy concentration to meditation may all who read this with sincerity attains this state.

meditation state 1
Meditative state “Turyia or samadhi” All the energy signals in different frequencies amplitude and wave length are brought by the center of nervous system the brain through connections with the senses using two way communication, the consciousness is what decides the energy that should be focused or witnessed or perform identifying (interacting, defining, analyzing, wanting to understand, or just observing). The two ways communication is what ensures the unbroken communication, meaning that to stay with those particular sense organs continuously, this TWO WAY COMMUNICATION should be established. This depends on our likes and dislikes and the intensity of desire we have for the same will ensure the stead fastness we maintain the link. This is what we require to establish with the point of concentration detaching from the sense organs as far as possible to achieve single point concentration with the pure abstract topic. Now we have achieved the state to allow mediation to dawn on us. When consciousness stops identifying itself or with the focused a state of freedom (stilling is experienced, it is a state of silence just like in deep sleep where there is no active consciousness of awareness, but in the meditative state of bliss (turiya) there is consciousness with out definition!!! This is what we progress as purification sets in. Yoga or union can be achieved through many ways, in many levels and different proportions or aspects. Astanga yoga can be used in all the three paths of spirituality, 1. Karma desire less acts of any work performed towards the entire mankind, with out anticipating any returns. 2. Bakthi devotion to the supreme self, and 3. Janna acquiring true, correct, and supreme pure information, understanding or knowledge, practicing the same to achieve wisdom. The complete understanding of yoga is possible only if all the three paths of spirituality are used in combination; this is as per the capacity of each aspirant and will make it possible for all to apply this in all the three in every walk of life. We are not going to deal with details of the three paths mentioned above, as it will lead to anticipation of the same causing a limitation and not freedom with complete expansion Yoga or union Or Merging “I” & “i” The only permanent thing in this whole universe manifested and un-manifested is nature; some of us know her as Mother Nature or Prakrathi. Purusha Consciousness enters her (YOGA in body mind and spirit {the five elements}) to start the creation of everything in the manifested and un-manifested. Similarly Mediating on these is enabling our consciousness to enter these elements, this is required because we will not be able to understand these elements to the subtle part, more over it is not possible to transcend into the next chakra with understanding the previous. When we are at the lower chakras then we can say that our meditation or state of concentration is engrossed with the single element pertaining to that chakra, progressing to the next chakra will then happen when difference between say earth element and water element is reduced or removed completely. How is this done? Simply by first breaking them down to their basic structure (atoms) and then to the energy that both posses that is the element fire, NOW WE SEE THE NEXT CHAKRA that is the fire element in the manipura chakra, proceeding further up we remove the difference between fire and air, further up remove the difference between air and space (pure energy in expanded form), from here onwards we enter the energy zone with different lights. Above this we remove the differentiation of lights to reach the zone of true transparent light [note here kindly don’t concentrate on the rays as they have the capacity to burn everything just stay with the center of the disc which is cool and pleasant, but not cold.] The state of true undifferentiated meditative bliss as we understand and experience is called “Turiya”. It is not a dream, it is not a conscious feeling of sleeping or relaxed feeling of sleep or detachment from everything that is external and internal, and it is definitely not deep sleep or unconsciousness. To explain this state within the limited vocabulary available in any language known to us is just impossible. It can be best described with feelings an exceptional experience, [to put it as a child’s way of ex-pression “YES” describing it with both hands fists clinched bent at the elbow body slightly crouched and an broad smile on the face may just touch the tip of the ice berg]. May be in the future new words will be developed or invented to enable limiting the limitless. Thus, this is always quoted in the texts as negating everything “neither this nor that”, or as “not this not this, nethi- nethi”. This is because everything is happening all at the same time. And consciousness can focus only on one thing at a time and selecting any one thing from the totality will only make us loose the state and come back among the limited definition of that which we have selected. Will Be Continued.

soul of the soul
The soul of the soul is consciousness, {Awareness or that which enables detection of change, ananda shakthi, which means both joy and sorrow}, The soul of consciousness is feeling, {Bhavana, the difference in each micro division or frame of observation [this gives rise to the sense of time] (by meditation we are changing our ability to experience from macro to micro)}, The soul of feelings is the active state of energy {Bindhu (the point) and nada (the vibration around the point, this is [anahata nada the un-struck sound, this give rise to all form and vision)]} , The soul of energy is activity (Kriya or Karma) this enables experience and individuals reference of time, The soul of activity (Karma) is desire to experience, The soul of experience is reflection or consciousness of oneself, (desire to experience oneself either by ones own senses or through the interaction with others, The soul of action (karma) is desire for union {Yoga}, The soul of desire or union or yoga is love {bakthi}. {This is due to the hidden truth that we were one, now after separation we are trying to achieve that same oneness, the whole commotion is due to the existence of simultaneous activity in different ways to achieve the same goal of ones). The soul of love is knowledge, The soul of knowledge is the understanding (Wisdom, Janna), The soul of understanding is the similarity of observed and accepted details stored in our memory as words, vision (shapes and form), {The soul of similarity is accepting the meaning of the word. The soul of shape and form is sound; the soul of vision is reflection of light,} The soul of the word is the meaning attached to it by us, The soul of oneself is god as defined by us, The soul of god is pure conscious undifferentiated energy known as “pradhana” (the first and foremost subtle of the subtle thing that exists in the entirety all by its self. This is rajas; the activity of change from satwa to tamas the mula prakrathi that is always in balance through the action of rajas, this is the cause of change that enables detection of difference between consciousnesses’s which compares the previous state (stored automatically in the memory with the presence using intellect (budhi)). May be continued in future….
