BREAKING THE CYCLE OF BIRTH AND DEATH

BREAKING THE CYCLE OF BIRTH AND DEATH

Realization is one way to do this. This is to accept that everything in this manifested world is God, the pure energy. Everything else is only what we have assumed to be, with our own understanding, depending on our mental development in this life, based on the information that we accumulated and the experiences that we encounter.

MERE KNOWING THIS IS NOT REALIZATION, IT HAS TO BE UNDERSTOOD IN EVERY ASPECT OF OUR FUNCTIONING AS HUMANS.

THIS MAY BE ACQUIRED BY LOOKING BEYOND THE PHYSICAL APPEARANCES OF SUBJECT AND OBJECT RIGHT UP TO THE SUBTLE LEVEL OF ENERGY WHERE EVERYTHING IS THE SAME.

The next life will be only after the period of rest. It is said that the last thought at the time of leaving the body (death) is the type of next life that the soul will achieve, as it will be continuously thinking of only that thought in relation to the external world, In the absence of the sense organs they will not be bringing new information, so no new thoughts can appear related to the external world, it can only have a feeling of presence and energy interaction of love or hate!, the soul is left to interact with only memory, as it is carried along with it at the time of death or the other energies it comes across within its vicinity or field of influence. During the period of rest the replay of memory, the actions performed during our entire life time takes place (similar to a dream) hence we experience heaven feeling of pleasure and joy OR hell feeling of pain and sorrow. This is why we are regularly asked to do good things and refrain from doing bad, but if we look closely, it will be noticed that good and bad are only our understanding about things defined by us in the external world, in the real sense there is only activity performed by us for every of our likes and dislikes (CERTAIN FEELINGS/ BHAVANAS) with a particular intensity, So it is these feelings that are stored in the memory as certain energy waves, Good as satwa and bad as tamas. Thus, it can be seen that attachment of things is the natural behavior of the soul, which is the real form of the fire (LOVE).

THOSE SOULS WHO CANNOT REST SOON AFTER LEAVING THIS BODY DUE TO STRONG ATTACHMENT TO THE BODY OR THE MATERIAL THINGS OR RELATIONSHIPS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET THE NEXT BIRTH AS THEIR THOUGHTS ARE STILL CONTINUOUSLY CAUGHT UP WITH THE ATTACHMENT, THEY ARE RESCUED FROM THIS STATE BY THE RELIGIOUS PERFORMANCES DONE BY THE HUMANS AND SAGES. ALSO THOSE SOULS WHOSE ATTACHMENTS FOR BREAK IN THE CYCLE OF BIRTH AND DEATH HAVING THE THOUGHT OF ONLY GOD WITH OUT ANY SHAPE AND ATTRIBUTES OR DESIRES WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET THE NEXT BIRTH, THEY MAY HOWEVER BE RECALLED BY THE SAGES IN ORDER TO PERFORM A SPECIFIC ACT TO GUIDE THE WORLD IN THE SUITABLE WAY TILL ITS TERMINATION. One important thing is necessary to remember, the life span in any life (states) is decided by the merit gained in the previous life, the soul will be instigated to think only of that desire that is most intensely or most dominantly thought of. Thus, the soul will be guided to that environment where it will get the necessary environment, body and length of life span, to fulfill its desire. This is why the preparation of the aspirant to the spiritual order is required to perform specific duties before they are initiated so that their thoughts are guided easily in the path of spirituality right from the beginning. The general aspirants & public are only prepared for achieving right parents in the next birth so that they may be initiated. Need for initiation is necessary to select the correct students or aspirants, so that the purity of the system is maintained.

Power of prayer, mantra, grace, creative intelligence and hard work (karma): - Prayer is the outcome of deep desire or love, the natural characteristic of our soul, using creative intelligence the mind formulates a mantra or phrase or ex-pressions depicting the desire and energies it with grace (LOVE, Blessing) transforming itself into the prayer completely there by materializing the effect, many a times we assign the success of our prayer to the almighty outside us, were as it is always from within, that is using the love and feelings of pleasant joyful state of the soul intensely thinking of the desire.

Importance of satisfying desire and art of adaptation: - when we have changed our grief to sympathy and kindness, anger to strong willpower and strength of mind we will have just started to thread the path of philosophy and spirituality in the true sense. Being carried over by our emotions, we can neither be helpful to others nor ourselves (helping others is the way to serve the lord called (JARNARDHANA, is the lord in the form of the multitude in Indian language). This means that, the mind can get involved with only one thing at a time, if we are occupied by our emotions then we cannot even think of any other thing at that moment. The best way to keep the mind free is to detach our self from everything either by satisfying the desires or never allowing our mind to think of them OR make an continuous effort to change the thought gently, this requires art of adaptation to the situation.

How to renounce any thing if you don’t posses it? Neither renunciation nor involvement in the materialistic world but living a happy healthy and peaceful life gaining direct experience of the true self is our goal that can redeem us from further births and deaths. What is getting involved with anything? How can you experience or understand anything without getting involved with it? As we use our sense organs we collect information from the physical world into the internal world of electromagnetic and chemical plane this is getting involved, through this action, we acquire knowledge. The stage of ultimate renunciation is to leave this knowledge also. As this is the product of human, intelligence (sound, alphabets, words & meaning) within the time frame and is valid only here in the manifested world.

The most important prerequisite to learn anything from the self is patience as it serves as a platform for taming, supporting peace of mind and single point concentration. Self-discipline is the meaning of the same in mental level of activity (if the mind is not serene, jumping from one thought to the other without connection, then how can we guide it or change it?) the way of achieving this is through the practice of the two steps of RAJA YOGA (astanga yoga, 8 steps practice) namely yama (define and accept the do’s and don’ts) and niyama (sequence or periodicity with respect to time, place & procedure). Just by looking at our living style we may be able to ascertain our mental state; “disorganized indicates scattered mind; this allows the soul to dwell on any topic carelessly”. Concentration the other step of yoga comes easily to the disciplined mind, without which contemplation is not possible. Thus, for the disorganized type the state of meditation that can be automatically achieved is not possible. The uninterrupted stay of the mind in this meditative state is the state of Turiya. It must be emphasized here that the aspirant never brings on the state of meditation, IT HAPPENS OR ONE JUST SLIPS INTO IT AT THE RIGHT TEMPERAMENT AND ONLY AFTER THE HABBIT OF ONE POINTED CONCENTRATION BECOMES NATURAL THE STATE OF MEDITATION (DHAYNA) IS DAWNED, SO IS THE STAYE OF TURYIA, The soul needs to be reminded of the bliss and joy that it can achieve, before it can transform itself completely into the thought. Once this happens then the effortlessly the mind can repeat this joyful, all the other steps of yoga are automatically performed, as pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), asana (posture), prana yama (controlled breathing) comes naturally.
