Rebirth is to be anticipated as many of our deep intense desires for material, mental and spiritual are not fulfilled, and the craving for these establishes a flow of energy that will keep the memory alive. Identifying this will keep the ego (I-ness) alive and eventually seek a body (BIRTH) suitable to fulfill that desire left alive from previous births.

Compassion towards the departed relatives is expressed better by “Helping the departed to find the path towards the resting place by praying to the omnipotent or to our ancestors.” Alternately we may call the deceased by name and guide him to take the path of light to reach the highest level as per his development in this life.

The learned sage’s and some humans, everyday do this as a part of the daily prayer called “SANDHYA.” This is done four times a day at twilight in the morning and evening and mid day and mid night. They have the responsibility of taking care of the souls having lesser developed knowledge due to their state when they departed. We humans can perform it at least twice a day morning and evening. The part where we offer water incense, flowers, & food in the name of the departed souls looking at the rising sun. This part is called “TARPANA.” There are others who follow monthly or yearly (when the sun is in the southern course during the months of September to mid October. We also do it at every meal we eat, by setting aside a small portion of what is served to us. Our life to a great extent can be trouble free as protection and compassion of these ancestors are going to be with us through out our days as living.

FIRST we need to know that all the souls as soon as they are free from the human body are many times more powerful mentally and spiritually then us (it is not necessary to describe these some mention of these are given in my other articles). This is because we are limited by the purity in the physical body, mental, and spiritual aspects, thus our mental & spiritual capacity is partially diverted or engaged towards rectification or overcoming these.

            “THEN WHY DO THEY NEED OUR HELP?” Most will remain confused till the funeral. Many even after that as they refuse to let go due to the attachment towards their material possessions! And accept that they are dead. THIS IS THE MAIN REASON WE ARE ADVICED TO STAY DETACHED FROM EVERYTHING EVEN OUR ACQUIRED KONWLEDGE.

One of the reason is that many of them realize this only after a brief rest, only the highly enlightened can realize this even before their departure, in most cases the moment the spirit leaves the body it is in a state of confusion, it will not know that it has exited the body and will behave in the same manner as if it was alive still in the body, the difference it notices are that nobody responds to all the interaction it does with the living, we living persons know that the soul has left and the dead body is lying there because we can see it with physical eyes and senses, so we prepare for the funeral. Soon after this sleep (depends on the development of the soul it can last up to 3days (human or earth time) to 3years (human or earth time) they realize and start to look for a new .

            Just like the humans require rest after a days work, the soul also requires this rest is achieved after the frustration due to the effort just after death. This rest is possible only after they accept that they are dead. Many will dream all the incidents they experienced in the present life or some main events of previous lives. This is the experiencing of hell and heaven. ALL only a MEMORY REPLAY!

This is the reason many religious leaders tell us that even this life is a dream and it is not actual, this is the same thing that we experience when in beginning stages of Samadhi, during higher levels of meditation all mental activity vanishes.

The soul needs to take a decision. Whether it wants to take a birth now or wait for some other time when the environment is conducive to thee desire to manifest. Thus it can stay with out taking birth or take a rest or different birth.

In the realm of the spirit everything looks beautiful as there is no differentiation, thus we can mistake them and take birth in that species of life on earth or other universes. All this is due to insufficient development in mental and spiritual planes during this birth. We may now recall all the saying of the religious masters to mean this, they did not want to un-necessarily create a fear in our minds thus used the appropriate method they felt best for their time. We are explaining this here as the times have changed and the urgency of the hour is to make more people understand this, thus the direct approach.

            Now depending on the strongest desires present in the active mind, the soul will instantly appear in that universe or environment. As it observes the inhabitants there it selects the couple and instigates them by super imposing feeling, to prepare a body so that its desire is fulfilled. So NOW WE SEE HOW WE TAKE BIRTH, nobody other than you decides!!! Based on the love and hate towards the male or female we acquire the sex of male or female, (we get a male body if we are attached to the mother and a female body if we are attached to the father.) THUS LIFE BEGINS AND ULTIMATELY ENDS as soon as we decide that this body we have taken is not serving the purpose it was adopted.

The way to avoid rebirth in any manifested part of the universe is to develop an aversion to wards the womb and detest influencing the most qualified couple to prepare a body for it. Staying one pointed in this meditate and become the thought. Meditation being the normal behavior of the mind and does this until it is satisfied with the interacted thing. Thus we have to be nerve satisfied

            The perfect man as described in one of the great books is THAT ONE WHO HAS DIED WITH OUT ANY DESIRE. Because even the desire of being one with god is a hurdle to the final union with him/ her.
