The power of anything to completely conquer our imagination, on which our consciousness is focused on, is very great. The magnitude or magnetizing strength of this force is directly proportional to the intensity of the desire (love), this varies from person to person, as likes and dislikes are different for each subject or object to each individual. This desire can be either love or hate (the duality counterpart of love), and the understanding developed by us.
Consciousness is generated as soon as anything detected by it is confirmed by the senses, so a closed loop must be developed. Consciousness does not differentiate nor does it experience, it only detects all the change that takes place in the energy field called mind, it resonates as soon as the characteristics and the information brought to the mind by the senses become same.
Consciousness is the comparative effect of flow of energy (shakthi) that flows around any point (bindhu) that is desire; differentiation is done by the intellect. It is the feelings generated by the thoughts that use the intellectual capacity, stored in the memory of individuals, in the mind along with the senses that confirms the feelings; this enables us to experience everything. Note that is becomes a closed loop, a circle with a center the desire. The force strength or magnitude depends or accumulating enough energy or intensity we have for the desire, the longer we stay with this desire the stronger it becomes as more and more energy is accumulated as attraction (love) or repulsion (Hate) it depending on our likes and dislikes we cultivate towards the subject or object.
Desire starts as a feeling converted to thoughts by the intellect and forms a concept. This is done in three levels namely physical, mental and spiritual.
The mind experiences spurts or a continuous flow of energy as the senses (gross) brings these information to the mind from the physical level. All subtle impulses are brought to the mind by subtle senses; these are the essence of the gross senses related mainly with the memory. The subtle impulses are more powerful and clear, as they are not influenced by the environment external to us.
The mind and consciousness are never cut off from these impulses from subtle senses as they are involved in colleting comparative information from the memory also during the normal waking state and dream state and deep sleep state when the consciousness is occupied with only the involuntary action that keeps us alive.
In the spiritual level, all differentiation is absent; we experience only energy as light, heat, and sound. Note that all these are energy and can be transformed to any other. It is only when we are able to experience this energy in the undifferentiated form we are one with the ultimate. Note we have said only ultimate and not added reality, as reality will mean that some thing is identified, defined and are differentiated and thus stored in the memory. Thus, it becomes clear that this memory is the cause of relativity, a comparative entity. Thus, experience is possible in the physical plane only through this memory. This gives us the EGO or I-NESS. This confirms that knowledge is defined by the intellect (DIFFERENTIATION CAPABILITY) this makes it the supreme as soon as it is experienced and converted to wisdom (Janna) the body of the supreme. In addition, experience is the devotion (bakthi), and all actions involved in performing these two are the desire-less work (Karma) also can be termed effort. It is only in the deep sleep state that they are not experienced by the individual senses or their subtle essence. However, there is another type of awareness of being able to experience the being-ness without differentiation with the experience of energy in the pure form as just energy with out any attributes or meaning. Here memory is neglected totally that is why it is called beyond mind.
This may seem that ultimately there is only energy as potential (Tamas) and kinetic (Satwa). The entire manifestation is the change from tamas to satwa or visa versa, this is called the rajas or active part of the totality. Thus we all are in the continuous movement (rajasic, or dynamic) state thus we can experiences or be conscious using the interception of the five powers Icha desire, Chita thoughts, Kriya activity, Janna intellect, and Ananda joy or experience. This point of interception is the bindhu the desire around which they rotate giving us consciousness as soon as the subtle and gross senses register the impulse comparing it with the memory. The consciousness is increased or decreased through expansion engulfing the entire universe and contraction by internalizing our consciousness to go closer to the point, ultimately merging into it. This is why concentration on a single point is so important.
Understanding fame with relation to the three aspects of our birth namely body, mind, and spirit is necessary, as knowledge and wisdom are the only means available with us to absorb the intensity and magnitude of this. In general, features of fame are nothing but excelling in everything or one thing related to our life and surroundings. Fame also is a comparative statement, giving rise to feeling of joy or happiness. This arises as soon as we compare ourselves with others. Comparison is evaluation of every characteristics related to body mind and spirit. With respect to body, the details with respect to fame, our appearance clothes that we wear, our facial ex-pressions, and the way we behave, must be similar persons that are famous. In the mental level, we have to be compatible to them and their way of thinking. In the spiritual level, our feeling should match theirs. All this is required because we don’t want to feel bad and rejected and loose the chance to be one of the best. Fear also took grip of the situation that I may be debarred from writing blogs here.
We have mentioned about this in one of our previous articles, the reason for repeating this is due to my failure in this aspect recently as a few days back,
[I was nominate by “Gypsywoman” a member of “hall of fame” in one of the bloging sites on the internet IBIBO, at first I was disturbed, the reason was that I did not have all the details, regarding the qualifications, the things that I was needed to do in order to get voted by the select group and more important was how to stay a member, there was no one to guide me in this as online help requires at least one day, I even took a days leave on 31st dec 2007 the last day of the year. After logging on I just noticed that I was back to iBiBo citizen, with a sigh of relief I settled back on the chair. ]
The thoughts were so powerful that it did not allow me to meditate. Thanks to “Ma”, I am back to normal after a good long yoga nidhra. This tells me that we can fall very easily from our acquired development. This point is very important for all trying to develop; it will help keep us alert.
Detachment from this is definitely the greatest achievement in the context of spiritual progress. For that matter, detachment (by detachment we mean not getting attached and not abstention from experiencing as understood) from everything related to mundane life is achievement in spiritual progress, but not as great as fame. Fame has that extra sparkle or power to capture our consciousness without our realizing it; it continuingly absorbs the mind completely, forcing us to consciously think in that direction, this manifests it. This requires to be analyzed up to the minute level if we want to become capable of guiding our life in the correct direction and achieve the goals set by us.
